Islamic Development Bank's delegation visiting Sudan (17/09/07)

The Minister of Social Affairs, Engineer Abdul-Gadir Mohamed Ali, has affirmed his state's concern with the implementation of plans and programmes in the context of the Green Agricultural Campaign.
 
 
This came when the Wali received a visiting delegation of the Jeddah-Based Islamic Development Bank (IDB), in the presence of a number of the state's officials. The minister stressed the importance of implementation of water harvest projects in the state.

The visiting delegation got acquainted with the state's capabilities for management of water projects and livestock resources.

The meeting discussed the state's programmes and plans, besides ways to benefit from water harvest projects, which will be implemented by Jeddah-based Islamic Development Bank (IDB), in the framework of the Green Agricultural Campaign, through establishment of a number of dams for animal resources and irrigation projects.
