Tahir urges El-Obied road rehabilitation (18/07/07)

During his recent visit to North Kordofan State parliament speaker Ahmed Ibrahim Al-Tahir inspected areas devastated by rains and floods, acknowledging the state’s relief-efforts.

Even more food and accommodation aid is expected to reach the State within the forthcoming days, said Tahir on his visit.

He further affirmed his contacts with the Ministry of Roads and Bridges to expedite rehabilitating Khartoum's El Obied Road.
