The Commission Finance and Aid Polarization Unit Director, Shibab Alden Hussein stated that the Commission, funded by the Ministry of Finance, has secured 80 tractors with accessories at an approximate cost of $80 million. He noted that, this package represents a preliminary support step to reintegration projects.
The Unit Director explained that the DDR Program targets Blue Nile, White Nile, South Kordofan, North, South and West Darfur, Kassala and Red Sea States.
