Sudan’s national unity government


The first Unity Government Cabinet was announced on 20 September 2005. Among the 29 ministers, the former northern ruling National Congress Party (NCP) obtained 16 portfolios, while the former southern rebels of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement clinched nine.
